Overpriced older hotel with ancient tube TV. Not impressed but cheapest game in town with a room.

As this was the only choice in Zumbrota, this is where we ended up staying for a family reunion. Next time, I’ll probably just stay home and drive the extra 2 hrs a day that staying here saved us. The positives: Continental breakfast. They allow pets. Price is pretty fair. Owners very friendly. Reasonably clean. The negatives: Beds have very hard, thin, inner-spring mattresses. The walls and doors are SO thin, you can hear people 3 doors down using the bathroom. Our room was about 30 feet down the hall from the ice machine, yet ALLNIGHT that was all I could hear… stupid, rude people filling their ice buckets. And walking up and down the hall. And opening and shutting their doors. Also, they start cleaning the rooms VERY early. We were woken at 7:30 by «housekeeping» both days that we were there. I guess by Day 2, we should have learned our lesson and put out the Do Not Disturb sign, but we were a little hungover, ok? The hotel served it’s purpose. It was a place to crash so we could hang out late(and drink a little…) at the reunion, but it wasn’t a particularly enjoyable experience.
