Phenomenal Takeaway. You can get a feast for 20 pound. They call it banquet 2. It comes with pakura, chicken tikka, two mains of your choice, bombay aloo, 2 rice pillau, Naan, and popadoms. Also they give you this sweet and sour sauce for the tikka, and it’s addictive.
We had the balti with garlic and green chilis the first time, and it was a little too hot. The second time we got the standard balti, and it was perfect. Also, they have something called akbhori karahi that I’ve never had. It’s chicken, lamb, and mince tikka in a curry sauce, and it’s delicious.
Also, don’t get the king prawn. They’re not king prawn, they’re baby prawn, and when I got the «king prawn» jalfrezi I was wishing that I’d saved a pound and got the lamb. This is the only reason they didn’t get five stars.
If you get anything here, get chicken or lamb balti.
