I’m not really great fun of their clothes department, as it was already noted most of their products are ordinary(which is associated to comfortable/elegant style for older generations), however neither me or my mum could find there something that would fit nicely. What I am fun of though, are their beauty section(with great brands such as Nuxe or some animal friendly/natural ones) and mainly the food section! I don’t remember I would ever dislike what I bought there?! It can be from simple sandwich to ready made food or the proper food for cooking yourself at home. There is always so much flavour in anything they do! Be prepared though to pay for this delicious treat ! However, if you are lucky with good selection, they do make deals ‘dinner for two for £10′, where you get a starter, main, side dish, dessert and bottle of wine! And do try their pulled pork bun at the hot food counter and chocolate cheesecake from the sweet section

I’m a huge fan of their ready-made sandwiches and pastas in the ground floor foods section. I never imagined I would rave about a ham, cheese and pickle sandwich, but there is something quite special about the British and their sandwiches. The food sections is quite expensive and products are exclusively branded/produced(?) by M&S, but the selection is large and diverse. Shopping here for food, I imagine, is as close as I get to having a Whole Foods-like shopping experience in Aberdeen. They have some ethical and environment– friendly services and products, i.e. fairtrade coffee and tea and 10p shopping bags. The clothes and home sections on the first and upper levels are rather ordinary. Clothing styles are more traditional and nothing too fashion forward. They have a little bit of everything, mostly basics.

I love M&S. This is a nicely self-indulgent store, spread over three floors, lots of stuff on offer. I darted in there to buy some bubble bath for a lazy hotel night in. And they had all sorts of bubble bath from £1 for a plump bottle through to granny’s favourite floral options through to wannabe spa products for more pounds. The food hall is pretty nifty too. All you would expect from M&S in a perfectly pleasant store. Reliably shop your hearts out.
