It was my second time. Consistently, the food was very nice and the service was pleasant.
VALUE — for Aberdeen probably average
SERVICE — attentive (just the right amount)
TIMING — good
FOOD — very good
ATMOSPHERE — you need to be a fan of darker places (good for romantic dinner but not for business purposes). They were good with kids.

Best Thai restaurant in Aberdeen. You can tell the chef to cook your food authentically. But be very careful because it will be very spicy. Have cold drink ready. Seafood salad is the most tasty dish. Try deep fried spare ribs. Tom yum soup is very delicious. Te waitress is very friendly and can give you good suggestions. Unbelievably that the owner is from China. The chef is from Thailand.

Royal Thai is quite pleasant. The interior is elegant and the service is nice.
My starter (Tod Mun) was good as was my main course the Cashew Chicken and Vegetable. Also, the rice was done to perfection. I am a little suspicious of any Thai place that doesn’t have a lot of bamboo shoots in their dishes but I suspect its a mix of local custom and the fact that this is really sort Thai /Chinese mix of cuisines (lots of duck).
Only H2O for me, I’m in detox.

Royal Thai is good Thai food. Enjoyed my meal here and so did my companion. Worth a try.
