as a chinese take away it has all the requirements of the orient my favourite meal is house special curry with boild rice «its making my mouth water now» and the batter around the sweet & sour king prawns is to die for !!! is the magic wok worth value for money ??? yes it is its very competitive if not one of the cheapest chinese take aways in abingdon please give it a try, and i’m sure you will not be disappointed !! the staff are very friendly, they do’nt keep you waiting either. if you want it even quicker just give them a call, they will have your meal waiting under the counter !!

There are a number of Chinese take aways in Abingdon, and as a fan of Chinese food I’ve been to a lot of them — but the Magic Wok is my favourite because they make the nicest crispy duck. It’s tasty and really crispy, just the way I like it.
They have a really good menu, which covers all the take away favourites (my husband loves the fried rice and the satay chicken) along with some specials — the sesame seed chicken mini rolls make a very yummy starter.
The staff are very friendly and efficient, and the food is cooked quickly. The waiting area is roomy and comfortable, and there’s a one armed bandit if you like a flutter while you’re waiting.
