The West End Centre is a thriving arts centre located at the top of Aldershot town centre. They offer a diverse range of creative activities, including music and theatre, comedy, exhibitions, arts and crafts, workshops and community events. I went to a very good music festival here recently with lots of live bands playing throughout the evining, some very good and some not so very good. unfortunately some bands still insist on thinking loud is a good substitute for s**t musichow wrong they are… The only downside was that it was not as busy as it really should have been(I still think people have difficulty finding the place. its a hidden gem). They have a well stocked and well run bar to ensure your whistle is thoroughly whetted throughout the evining. Plenty of toilets which is an important feature when you have got a well stocked bar, and good disabled access throughout. The place is a little bit like a maze inside but it is deceptively large and holds a relatively large number of people inside which always adds to a good atmosphere. The function rooms are cosy so the atmosphere is magnified. The West End Centre has a free car park behind the building and is a mere 10 minute walk from Aldershot train station.

this started out years ago as a school, in recent years it has morphed into an arts center and is extremely popular. as a music venue it is very good. they also put on classes for the children during the school holidays.
