The décor, furniture and overall tidiness leave a bit to be desired but the tastiness of the food and cheerfulness of the staff more than make up for that. At first glance the menu looks a bit cobbled-​together and can largely be ignored. Basically if Sandra (who seems to be there every minute they’re open) has the ingredients she’ll make you whatever you fancy. The chicken mayonnaise is amazing and is highly recommended. Simple dishes like beans on toast are quick to be dished up. Sandra is extremely flexible in timing and couldn’t be more cheerful.
Ignore the slightly scruffy inside and enjoy some really scrummy nosh at very good prices.
