Yup, I agree with another reviewer… zero stars. Terrible service. Overpriced. I ordered lasagne. It was clearly a frozen microwaveable one from Tescos or something.
Avoid.

This restaurant has been serving up its authentic Italian dough topped with the classic favorites for nearly 20 years now, and the décor inside reminds you of its age, l don’t think it has been updated in as long. But still this family run business is a refreshing change from the other restaurants in Hale that are aimed at relieving the heavy wallets of local residents. The bar is fairly well stocked, and has quite a few traditional Italian spirits! The price of a home made pizza is around £7, which is so reasonable! They also have a fish specials board, where the produce has been bought locally and from sustainable sources.
They don’t take bookings at the weekend because of how busy they get, so if you are planning to eat here… get there early! The restaurant is also only a few minutes walk from Hale train station.

If it was possible to give no stars I would. We chose this restaurant over Pizza Express just across the street because we like to support independent traders. What a mistake. The goats cheese starter was good but everything else was foul. My brushetta was greasy and lacked flavour, steak was so well done it was burnt, when I’d requested medium. My husbands risotto was so foul he couldn’t eat it, and the waiters were totally unapologetic. We asked twice to speak to the manager, but he never came near our table.
The lighting is appalling and to be honest I cannot imagine how this restaurant is still doing business.

Lovely little Italian restaurant in the heart of Hale Village. Food is excellent and all cooked fresh. Can tend to get busy at the weekend, so booking is recommended. I had the chicken in a spicy sauce, very nice.
