Really disappointed. Went in here with small childeren and mentioned that my child was upset and crying, suggested to sit away from main people inside. Man behind counter guided us to a location around their existing customers. The guy rudely told us to leave once we had the orders on the table, not asked in a nice manner. Admitidly my child was having an off day but the guy was plain rude. After being told we could pay with card, we were told we needed to pay by cash as they had already rang it up. Really bad experience, not child friendly go to café bridge if you have childeren and its within opening hours. Totally child friendly.

Friendly staff, excellent food, clean, service good. A little pricey, but portions generous, so it makes the meal worth the money. Friends and myself go there most Saturday mornings for a delicious breakfast, and we are always looked after by the staff. They have a «special» English Breakfast for £2.95, at the time of writing(June 2011). Highly recommended. Toilet available on the first floor.

Good tidy place. Plenty of seating upstairs. But, service was slow. Annoying bell sounds every time food is ready at the service hatch. We asked for a pepper mill and was told there was not one! Prices are too expensive, which is their main problem. Plus great value for money.

This is a great traditional family restaurant which does all the old favorites — you can even have porridge for lunch if you so desire! Has tables outside in the summer and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is open from early morning to late afternoon and the cream teas are superb. Good home cooking(not the usual microwaved rubbbish!!) Highly recommended.
