Pizza Hut UK

Where to start…
My partner and I went here on Saturday for a quick starter and main. I booked early on Saturday morning as I understand this chain of resturaunts gets busy.
Arrived at 20:30, didn’t get greeted at the check-​in desk, waiteres/​waitresses walked by for 10 minutes until we finally got seated in a cramped spot because it’s all they had; table was sticky.
We overheard the couple and child next to us talking between themseves, stating; pizza had the wrong base, cold food, unsliced pizza and no cutolry.
It took 20 minutes to be served. We couldn’t have a starter as they’d sold out of everything so we had to order a large pizza in order to get the stuffed crust we both wanted.
1 hour went by and the pizza arrived, with no stuffed crust! The waitress explained they’d run out after it had been put in the system and offered to re-​cook a pizza of our choice or to simply have this pizza. We’d waited an hour so decided to eat what we were given.
Another couple behind us mentioned they received the incorrect food. Being vegiterean they where given a meat order!
I must add, the pizza we got given was very nice and delicious.
The bill came and we paid £3.85 for drinks, food being free with a note to say sorry for the inconvenience. We where told the manager would come and apologise but this never matured.
Because I have to give this a rating, it will only be 1 star. The staff made numerous mistakes to what would seem most people in the vicinity of our table.
I’m usually not one to complain but this was a bad experience and I’ll probably never go to this place again. Other Pizza Huts I’ve been to where fine.

I can’t coment on the food as we had none, very disapointed with the service though. We took the kids last weekend as a birthday treat, printed off a 50% voucher online to save us a bit of money, upon arrival asked if using the voucher was ok, they said yes, gave us menus and showed us a seat, and that was all they did. The reasturant was not busy and everyone in was already eating, no one came to see if we wanted to order drinks while we decided what we were having, and we waited 25mins without anyone approaching the table. There was pleanty of staff on wandering around, clearing plates and checking if other customers wanted refils etc…
On two occassions staff looked over to the table and we thought they would come over but they never did, after being ignored for nearly half an hour we walked out and a nice letter has been sent to head office. Not sure why we were treated like this but I wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recomend it to anyone.

Pizza hut is a restaurant I love to visit as it does delicious pizzas and salads, although I do not understand the recent name change to Pasta hut but then again that is a different matter. The restaurant at Ashton Under Lyne is the one closet to me but it is a bit of a disappointment. It is slow, you can end up waiting ages to be served even for a takeaway and it is usually very low on staff. They do not allow you to order online at this particular restaurant and so not do deliveries either.
Although I do eat here occasionally whenever I am close by I try to avoid it if possible and visit another restaurant. Waiting times here have often ruined a night out with friends as we have had to spend too long waiting for out food, which means we have then missed the showing of our film at the local cinema. 1 star

Pizza hut is probably one of the biggest chains throughout the UK and I personally this is one of the best restaurants on the go. They offer great pizzas and you can even design your own one, apparently they do pasta now but that has no interest to me at all, I love pizza. This is not my normal Pizza but I have been here once before. The food was great and the pizza was up to its normal highest standard. The service was not as great as normal, we took quite a while to service us and the food did come a little later than we expected but the quality was great. I would always keep a look out online for vouchers for pizza hut because a couple of months ago we went here and had a 50% of voucher, to me that makes the food taste better.
