I spent a couple of hours in La Salute last night. We were a group of four sat in the window. At first it was pleasant enough until a table of twelve came in. The noise escalated so much that we could hardly hold a conversation. To top it off the staff cranked up the music and started shouting and clapping. We couldn’t wait to finish the meal and get out of there. It really ruined a perfect meal. The food was fantastic but we probably won’t return now because of the noise. I’m used to some kind of noise in a restaurant but not this. My ears were ringing when I stepped outside! I just remembered something else that was poor about the experience. My knife and fork weren’t clean so I had them replaced. This just shouldn’t happen.
