Longacres Garden Centre

I don’t get there very often, but whenever I go to my dentist I always pop in and shop for food, plants, gifts, greeting cards as there is such a wonderful assortment and lovely staff to help you and any plants I have bought there are still alive!

Excellent garden centre and well worth a visit.
Huge range of goods in this vast building and outside area.
Massive car park so you certainly shouldn’t have a problem parking.
Very entertaining shop to visit with so much variety.
Café and toilets in store.
Beautifully laid out with areas for pet goods, pots, seeds, bulbs, florists (excellent florists!), food market, garden furniture, garden tools, gardening clothes, cd’s, dvd’s, indoor plants, outdoor plants, plug plants, fruit bushes, trees, garden ornaments, water features…
… the list is endless.
Wonderful place, can’t praise it enough.
Does get very busy but you’ll see way when you go there!

Superb garden centre that’s sure to cater for your every need.
This place is HUGE a look at the car park, overflow carpark and overflow overflow car park will give you some idea just how HUGE!
The plant selection here is excellent. Houseplants, shrubs, bedding plants, trees, you name it, they’ll have it. Plants are always in excellent condition and they’re very reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and knowledgable about the plants they sell.
There’s an excellent florists and you can order some fantastic bouquets or make up your own with their extensive cut flower selection.
A huge range of stoneware, soils, barks and stones are available and this place is so popular it even has a drive through compost run to allow you to pick up your compost without having to park.
Outbuilding, pool and pet concessions exist.
There’s a good range of gardening attire and gift ware. A good range of toys and gifts complete the set up.
There’s a café here with limited outdoor seating in addition to a large indoor area.
There are always plenty of trolleys of varying sizes but do expect the place to be VERY VERY BUSY!
