Alex & Andy Owen, owners of this great pub always do their best to source locally sourced produce to use in their kitchen which I think is not only noble thing to do but makes the food taste so much better. The pub décor is really comfy and tastefully furnished. The staff are friendly and down to earth and don’t get flustered even when its completely rammed. My favourite part of the pub to sit is the cozy ‘blackboard bar’ which serves the best sirloin steak baguette and chips ever! They also stock some local Sussex wines here which are best enjoyed in the huge beer garden in the Summer!
