We had a nice little break of teas and scones here after our river ride. Cute tea room with okay service. Maybe it was that particular day but our waitress seemed preoccupied. The other patrons enjoyed their lunches.
We stopped in mainly for the candied colored cupcakes displayed at their windows. I wanted to get a dozen but ended up getting only half. They didn’t offer the pretty ones as displayed in their window. And in the end, I’m glad that I didn’t get the full dozen. The cupcakes were very plain and the frosting is also plain. To be quite honest, i was disappointed with the cupcakes which I got all excited about when i first saw them.
I am giving it three stars because it is an OK tea room and seeing as I didn’t have lunch there, it wouldn’t be fair for me to give them less than 3 because their cupcakes aren’t as good.
