Manhattan Burger Bar

Highlights:
–friendly warm and welcoming staff and Tony the owner really puts care into everything he does when it comes to food!
–golden brown crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside chips.
–proper thick garlicky garlic mayo
— well cooked burgers
–humongous portion sizes (my regular fries always end up seeming like a large), also Man Vs Food esque sized burger named «the explosion» consisting of 3 burger patties with an option of a layer of cheese in between each pattie… (I personally couldn’t finish that so a regular ¼ does me just fine, but I’ve see a lot of men ordering that)
Swartz Bros? –Forget them, their burgers always get cold quickly for some reason, but this isn’t a bitching session about Swartz, I’m just saying I personally much prefer the quality and care which is tasted in Manhattan’s Burgers in Widcombe.
Recently tried the Manhattan Chicken wings, assuming it would be standard. I was wrong, the wings were fresh, I saw the member of staff, who was serving me, take the wings out of the fridge (they were fresh, whole chicken wings, not wings that have been halved to go further), he dredged them in a Manhattan seasoned flour mix and fried them until perfectly cooked, golden brown and crispylicious! I’m a fried chicken connoisseur and trust me, if you like wings, ditch KFC or any other fast food outlet in Bath and go to Manhattan Burger Bar for some real deal chicken wings!
I’m yet to try the milkshake, but probably will today, because they are popular, and they look thick…
You get all sorts of demographics ordering food from here, police men, old Batholian pub locals, students, young professionals, tourists, Bath locals who have live in Bath for over 20years… Trust me, if the locals go there, then that’s a sign!
Overall definitely my favourite burger place in Bath by far! Fast food, with a home made touch of care, and warm welcoming staff who take their job’s seriously!
Nice Ambience, plays nice music which is nice while your waiting, that’s if your engrossed in a friendly conversation with the staff (who always remember you)…
Good value for money considering the average prices for any fast food in Bath, and the quality you get when you go to Manhattan Burger Bar in comparison with other burger/​fast food outlets in Bath.

Fat chips are normally a bad thing. Not here… They have over the years perfected those little bundle of potatoee joy. Then there’s the milkshakes. If you want a proper milkshake this is where you’ll find it. And as for the burgers, the are the ral deal. Om my, Blue cheesr, Garlic mayo, these badboys are the bomb, a taste of Manhatten itself (I’ve never been to manhatten, but I bet it tastes just like this place). Also the staff are super, super friendly. They’ll ask you your name on your first visit and more often than not remember it on your next. This place should be called Dream burger. I think I might have to drive down there.

Often seen as second best to Schwartz Bros, in this two burger joint town — I strongly disagree.
