Simple preparations done very very well. Everything my wife and I had was great from the Pork terrine through the roasted vegetable risotto and duck breast finishing with the Jaffa cake parfait. Intimate casual atmosphere. Well worth diverting to if you’re in the area. Only open for dinner on Friday and Saturday.

Have been looking for a local place to have nice coffee/​tea and this is it, day time food is excellent and wonderful kind and attentive staff.
However the evening food is even better if such a thing is possible and all at a very reasonable price.
Would recommend this to all who want that extra little touch.

Good food is served here at just over an average price. Polite staff and nice décor.
I have eaten here and had coffee a few times, I you find yourself in the area this would be one of the places you should pop it to.

No messing! This is a lovely, lovely place to eat. The people here are really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is cosy. It’s beautifully clean and well cared for. And the kitchen turns out truly delicious plates of food. Midsomer Norton is a simple place and it’s great to have a whiff of true sophistication in a place like this.
I went for some local sausages and mash. This may sound ordinary but they were far from ordinary. There is deft handiwork coming out of the kitchen — smears of flavours of the plate and much care and attention to detail. Good wine and lovely service! Recomended
