Pizza Express

Pizzas muy buenas. Probé Etna y Da Morire, ambas deliciosas. La combinación de ingredientes es atrevida y le aporta originalidad.
El comedor es agradable y el servicio amable y atento.

Bad experience here on 13÷12÷12. The place was packed with Theatre goers but they had accepted our reservation. The first table we had was downstairs beside the place where the staff were chucking used bottles into a bin so we asked to move. The second table was badly affected by the smell of cigarette smoke wafting in from somewhere. The water in glasses had a gunge film on it. Eventually the just passable pizzas arrived and the waitress came back to ask if everything was alright ! ‘No it isn’t ’ we told her. So the manger came over, handled our complaints very well and gave us a 50% reduction on the bill, which was fair enough, but we did not have a good evening here.

Had a good meal, good service from Martin. Did earlier go to the new pizza express in South-​gate well will NEVER go there again. Left standing at the door while staff passed without a glance. Very stuck up.

I ate out at this particular branch of Pizza Express the other day for my brother’s birthday and in my opinion it was a bit of a let down in some ways when compared to their other branches. The main thing about the place is it was just too crammed — it’s almost as if they have tried to squeeze in literally as many tables as they can so they increase their custom, but this just kind of over crowds the atmosphere. They have an underground lower floor as well as their main floor and this is where we had our table which was pretty cramped — and to top it off there was one of those manual portable air conditioners which was blowing directly in my face for the whole night which was a bit annoying to say the least!
Aside from this complaint, everything else was fine — the food was good (the same as other branches), service was also very good, and we did have an enjoyable evening — it was just a shame that we felt we were squished in so much with cold air blowing in our faces! I am generally a big fan of Pizza Express, they do really tasty pizzas on thin bases which I love — not so much a fan of deep base pizzas myself — but I don’t think I’ll be returning to this particular one. Another thing to add is that their outside seating area is really tacky — they have these big purple plastic tables and chairs, not somewhere you’d want to enjoy a nice evening meal — the interior of the place was well decorated though and apart from the over-​crowded feel I won’t really fault it.
Overall I just wasn’t impressed on my visit, but if the lack of space doesn’t bother you too much then give it a try — their food is just as good as any other!

This particular branch of the Pizza Express chain is pretty standard. It’s a safe bet for lunch or dinner, but if you’re thinking of visiting in the evening, then it’s worth making a booking to be sure that you don’t have to wait around to be seated. The staff are friendly enough, in my experience, but the restaurant itself isn’t exactly pleasing to the eye — a bit square and characterless for my liking. Still, it does the job and if you’ve got a hankering for some of those delicious baked dough balls, then it’s certainly shouldn’t be enough to put you off.

Tucked away in the back streets of Bath, you’ll find the customary Pizza Express that adornes most city’s in the UK. This one is nothing special, but is certainly a reliably friendly and relaxing restaurant to catch up with friends, or take your colleagues on a work night out. The décor isn’t as classy as you’d expect from most Bath establishments but with friendly, welcoming service and decent Italian-​style food it’s hard to beat for it’s price.

Love pizza express. This is a great place to get pizza, i’ve only rated this 3 stars as i don’t particularly like the aesthetics of the building and the service isn’t as warm as the others i’ve visited, however this is mainly due to how busy it gets at peak hours. the produce is the same in all pizza express restaurants, excellent, and it was yummy. its also great value and very often they post 2 for 1 on main meal vouchers online so look out.

This branch of pizza express is what you would expect from any branch of pizza express. The restaurant looks really nice from the outside and you can sit outside as well. The upstairs is fairly small at the front and consequently if there is a little queue it will probably be out the door, but don’t let that put you off, as it isn’t actually that long. At the back and downstairs there is more seating so there’s plenty of space. The menu is nice and well priced. The staff are really nice and the service fairly quick.

A classic reastraunt that serves some great pizzas, great for lunch aswel, they have a very good large menu with great customer service with a large selection of deserts. I wouldn’t reccomend buying the pizza express wine as it tastes like vinager, they also often have 2 for 1 offers avaliable on the internet. Reccomended for familys.

You all know Pizza Express — great pizza, so-​so service, stupid prices. I don’t know how they can justify £6 (yes — SIX QUID) for a half-​litre bottle of Peroni, but they seem to get away with it.
Can’t fault the food, but the prices are just insane.

Ok, everyone knows Pizza Express! The Bath branch has the same delicious menu, it’s a cosy restaurant on two floors the bottom floor has low lighting and is more intimate in the evenings, but they also tend to put large groups down there too. Upstairs the glass front means you can look out and watch the world go by, there is also a smaller area at the back of the first floor which is quiet. The service is good, although sometimes you can feel a little rushed or ignored, I think the prices are very reasonable as the food is always excellent. especially the garlic dough balls to start, you have to have these!!!

I like this branch of Pizza Express. The staff are friendly and it’s well-​run, clean and the food is excellent.
Each branch is in a different style building, which makes it interesting to visit different Pizza Expresses around the UK, though the menus are basically the same. You can get a range of salads, individual pizzas, pasta and desserts, along with Italian beers and wine.
The only downside is the layout. There are main two floors, the basement level has the main toilets. The ground floor is on 3 different levels with a step or 2 between levels which makes for much awkardness if you have a pram or a wheelchair. The disabled toilet is on the lower of the 3 ground floor levels. Short of going outside and around the building, I don’t know how this is easily accessable.

The food is pizza express is very good. Not amazing but very good. The staff are helpful, friendly but can be a bit slow to come back to the tables (maybe that due to the layout inside).
The biggest problem I have it the layout. I think places like this should be kid friendly and although the staff are, the layout inside isn’t. Its impossible to go here if you have a pram. The tables are just too closely packed in and on top of each other.
So nice food, not so great layout.

I really like pizza express, it has quality food and a great feeling about it. The one in bath is quite big and is very well located near the theatre. It is a really nice place to eat when shopping in Bath and I try and do this as much as I can. Their pizzas are great and my favourit is the four cheese pizza it is has a really nice base to it, and just the right amount of cheese. Pizza express isn’t cheap, but it is qaulity and is freshly made for you when you want. The garlic bread is a dream and I have been known just to visit the resturant for the bread alone. The location of the resturant is ideal just near town, so nice place to pop in for lunch. The staff are really friendly and work hard for their tips.
