We have visited The Ship on a couple of occasions and found it to be reasonably priced and of average quality.
There is a car park next to the pub and spaces are always available.
The last time visiting was on Father’s Day and we got a table easily without a booking. We ordered a pork Sunday dinner and a vegetarian dinner.
The pork dinner was okay. However, the leek and potato pie was a disappointment. It consisted of dry mashed potato with some onions and leeks in it and a slab of soggy short crust pastry on top.
Okay pub for a quick meal, although I won’t be rushing to return.

On sundays they only do a roast with usual meat offerings. One of the best roasts I’ve ever had!
