It was our first night in London, and my husband and I had just discovered the gleaming dome of Whiteley’s Shopping Centre. We were undecided as to what we wanted to eat, and after perusing the different restaurants, we thought that Chi Wok would do nicely. I ordered the mixed vegetables with soba noodles, and my husband ordered the ho fun noodles with beef. Our waiter was very efficient, and our food soon arrived. My noodles were moist and well seasoned; my veggies just crisp enough(these included carrots, broccoli, onions, shitake mushrooms, and peppers), and the dish as a whole very satisfying. I sampled a bit of my husband’s dish, and it seemed a bit less flavorful than mine, but still worthwhile in its own way(even if the noodles had become a bit gummy). I’d definitely go back if I was in the area, especially since the place also includes a number of Italian offerings and salads.
