These are the nicest pretzels I’ve ever had on the island of Ireland, the closest I’ll probably get to a New York street vendor here. My friend and I routinely get one salted pretzel and one cinnamon and share them just so we don’t have to make any difficult decisions. In fact, I get so distracted by the pretzels — always warm, doughy and generously sized — I have never managed to buy anything else here, except the cinnamon sticks. These are just like pretzel limbs so I personally think just go for the real deal, though the sticks make for vastly easier sharing.

Rating des Ortes: 4 Belfast, United Kingdom
This little American franchise has been doing the run in Castle Court’s entrance for the last four years or so and it seems to have struck a chord with Belfast shoppers. The range is varied — from sweet to savoury. Everything from a standard sugary soft pretzel to a garlic or cheese stuffed baked morsel. The prices of the actual pretzels are fine, most under two or three pounds however I do agree with the other review and the drinks are very over priced for what you’re getting. They often give out little free samples of some of their newer varieties to visitors as they come in the shopping centre and I would urge you to give it a try. They are just the sort of thing to keep your stomach happy during a busy Saturday shopping.
