This is a cheery modest little stall towards the middle of the market. Barnhill Farms focus on a mixture of fresh fruit(generally strawberries) and home-made apple juice and cider. I’m not completely sure how the licensing works but they do sell cider at the market. I have a bottle sitting in my kitchen which I haven’t drunk yet, I must this evening. There’s an interesting range of apple juices on offer, Regular Apple, Bramley Apple, Egremont Russet, Apple & Hedgerow Blackberry, Apple & Raspberry, Apple & Blueberry, Apple & Elderflower, Apple & Cinammon Apple & Blackcurrant. I bought a standard apple and an apple and blackberry. Both were fresh and sharp, the standard apple had a nice sweetness but some acidic notes on the finish, would probably be good as a mixer in a cocktail of some type too. Prices are reasonable, three large bottles for £6 or £2.50 each.
