I’m a bit of a chewing gum addict, so when I hadn’t had my fix for 20 minutes(just kidding… I hadn’t had a piece all day, honest), I knew I had to find a gum-selling-shop. Enter Cook’s Day Today. It was the only gum-selling-shop around around, so in I went, keen to grab myself a packet and head. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite work that way, because a) I missed the chewing gum section, and b) there was a queue. Me being me joined the queue, chewing gum-less, and waited for a few minutes while the guy at the till sorted out all the people in front. Looking around, I wasn’t overly impressed by my surroundings. Firstly, it was a pokey wee shop, and thus didn’t have a huge amount of anything, except cigarettes(why is that always the way?!) and lottery cards. Secondly, all the choccie bars were located *behind* the till… why?! Anyways, I did manage to get my chewing gum, and at 40p, it wasn’t too expensive, plus the sales guy was pleasant enough. Not much else to report really. At least I got my gum :)
