I am a uni student and thought this would be a great place to go because it’s so close to school. I walked in and was seen to by Micheal Quinn himself, I told him about my hair, it’s color history and asked if he could make it a Light Silver. He said that it would be no problem and we went ahead, I knew this would be expensive and was prepared to pay for a high quality service. I sat down and Mr Quinn handed me over to a trainee while he mixed the dyes, She was lovely and really attentive. The dyes was applied quickly and I was told that it would be washed out in 10 mins, I sat and waited and waited and waited… In total the dye was on my head for over 30 mins. When washed out it was almost Black, dried it was a very dark grey with a weird muddy look to it. The trainee was shocked and embarrassed for good reason, I paid and left because Quinn assured me it would«Look good with product in it». My friends couldn’t help but be honest and tell me how terrible it look, I looked 50 and I’m 20! People in shops came up to me to tell me how awful it look, I was too embarrassed to admit my failing in trusting an idiot with my hair. I emailed Quinn telling him about what happened and that I wasn’t happy, also that it would cost £80 in Peter Mark to correct the damage he had done, he arrogantly shrugged this off as perfectly good hair coloring service and I left the matter there as he was too up his own ass to be honest and admit the truth. WON’T BEBACK!

DONOTGOHEREIFYOUHAVEDISABILITIES! Well where to start. Firstly I am disabled. I have Fibromyalgia, arthritis and many other conditions. I have to get my hair cut so I can manage it. I don’t know whether I can or not until I try to style it myself which could be 2 to 3 days later. I went to this establishment using a TreatTicket, not expecting to be treated any different than anyone else. I assume the TreatTicket was to get new customers into the salon. Ha! I walked in and the owner asked me from the desk(I was seated in the waiting area) what my name was. Of course I think that’s what he said as there was a blow dryer in between us. He did have to ask 3 times! I noticed other people coming in. regular customers. They got kisses and coffee or tea. I was taken to the sinks for my 4 step joico treatment. The water was boiling and the person stunk of cig. smoke. When they(I believe there was more than one person involved|) were finished each step they told me. It seemed that they made good use of their time in between to have a smoke. Gross! There was no conversation and my neck was so sore(and still is) from the length of time I had it over the sink. On I went to get my hair cut. It was a repeat style so I showed Chris the model photo and the photo of myself after I got it cut the first time at another salon. There was no conversation except he mentioned he would have to take quite a bit off. I was in agreement. Towards the end of the cut/style I initiated conversation and he was actually quite friendly and obliging. However, he didn’t offer me tea/coffee either. lol Everyone there seemed really unhappy. I noticed that he really didn’t take much off but I don’t know until I style it myself. Anyways, I gave him a nice tip(in my opinion). After a couple of days I washed my hair and attempted to style it. It was way too long. It took me hours. My body was hurting so badly. My hands and arms were aching from holding them up for too long. I ended up having a flare up. Meanwhile I emailed the salon and asked if I could get it cut a bit more as due to my disabilities I couldn’t style it. Chris wrote back and said he would sort it no problem. I just emailed the salon(after being ill for several weeks) and the owner, Michael Quinn wrote back:“Hi greta we would be happy to recut your hair but as you were happy leaving the salon a few weeks ago and this was a discount off you would have to pay full price for another cut“ michael I did tell them I had been unwell. I think that says it all. No compassion or understanding. This is one potential customer that was not enticed by their flaming TreatTicket. No wonder they need to get more customers. Good luck to those that dare cross the threshold

This is a fantastic hair salon! The staff are amazingly talented and friendly and the salon itself is beautiful, luxurious and chic! The priced aren’t actually too expensive considering what you get for your money. With a cut and Blow dry costing £25-£45, depending on if you want a junior stylist, stylist or director to do the job. Which is really great! They offer lovely conditioning treatments and even do extensions and permanent straightening! wow! I’ve been in several times for a cut and blow dry, or just a blow dry if I’m going out and the service and quality has never faltered here for me. Top notch place that you can relax in a and be assured that you won’t come out wanting to put a bag over your head! One word: Fabulous!

I’ve been going to this salon for a couple of year now. Pretty much since it opened actually, and I’ve never had a bad haircut in it. In fact, I had the best haircut of my life here! The prices are pretty standard for a hairdressers, and it’s in such a convenient location for me(just round the corner from work). Like most salons, they run behind sometimes, but one of the reasons I love this place is that they’ll start to shampoo you and will just spend ages washing your hair and massaging your head — bliss! The clientele is a mixture of old and young, so while the place is very trendy and fashionable, it’s not off-putting by being full of the beautiful people all the time. Actually, there’s a pretty nice atmosphere most of the time. They’re also really attentive to the customers. For instance, I went in for a blow-dry the other day because I was going out for my birthday that night. Once the stylist(Michael himself — fantastic hairdresser) found out, he instantly got me a glass of wine to toast my birthday! That’s the kind of customer service I can get behind!
