Hi l got batting for handbags in your shop and it was great quality I was speaking to someone who thought you might bring it in again., I have searched every were for it and can’t get the quality please bring it again thanks honor Bennett

Paragon Fabrics, I have discovered, is a good place to find plain coloured linen type fabrics which to me anyway can be very useful. There is also a wide variety of all sorts of other fabrics ranging from dress fabrics, including prints and satins to cotton checked ginghams and rolls of bright pink nylon fluffy stuff if that’s what you’re after.
There are often ends of rolls being sold off cheaply if you happen to be in the right place at the right time — I found a large bolt of calico once for not much money which filled a gap at the time and if you want to find a local curtain maker this is also a good place to ask.
I have visited two branches at Donegall Pass and Holywood Road and have found both shops have a similar standard of usefulness though perhaps there is a larger and more varied stock carried in the shop on Donegall Pass.

I’ve visited the sister shop of this branch on the Cregagh Road, but only just recently went to this one when I was looking for some material for a fancy dress outfit that I was making for an event I was going to. I called in here randomly, hoping to get what I needed — even though I don’t know a lot about materials and their qualities and what is good or bad, useable and not useable. But basically, they set me up with everything I needed and didn’t take advantage of my lack of knowledge by selling me stuff that was too expensive or inappropriate. The staff were really helpful and knowlegable and couldn’t have done more to help me out I was very pleased with the service I got.
