Always enjoy the pizzas in pizza express, great spot to take the kids too. It can work out quite expensive for a family meal(especially when 2 kids are teenagers that refuse to eat kids meals) although we trade in our Tesco clubcard points for pizza express vouchers to use against the food bill, for every £1 worth of Tesco vouchers you trade you receive £4 to spend in pizza express… bargain! They have a range of mini desserts that come served with your choice of tea or coffee and is a great way to finish off the meal

Food was OK. We got salad that was out for a long time and was brown. Tables were greasy. We wondered what the kitchen will look like

I do like a Pizza Express. Any time I’ve dined here the food and service have been fabulous. My food recommendations from the menu are: Sweet & spicy mixed nuts & chickpeas Marinated olives Dough balls Garlic bread Leggera Superfood Salad Melanzane Romana pizza Padana Romana pizza Scrumptious food, good wine and super customer service. Whilst dining recently with friends, one of our pizzas was torn slightly whilst being taken out of the oven. The staff brought my friend the(very slightly) torn pizza to nibble on whilst they made him a new, perfect one. He was delighted, as we all were at such excellent customer service. Great restaurant — I’d highly recommend. However, can be very busy and noisy at peak times, so perhaps better for families during early hours. Childfree grown ups might prefer to dine at Pizza Express later in the evening when it’s quieter.

Got a margherita pizza and garlic bread with mozzarella, the garlic bread was lovely, tasted fresh and the cheese was yummy was a really nice garlic bread among the nicest ive had, the pizza was tasty, the only issue I had with the pizza was that when it came it wasn’t sliced, thought they would have cut it into slices at least, but it was a good pizza. Would go again.

Having been to Pizza Express in Victoria Square many times, I was disappointed when I visited a few days ago. The food, as always, was top notch — served quickly, food was hot and tasted great. The service was the only let down. After being seated and handed menus, the server returned after just a few minutes to take our orders and didn’t seem overly pleased when we asked for a bit more time. We gave our drinks orders which were promptly delivered, but also wrong. Our food order was served exactly as ordered — I highly recommend the calzone, although everything on the menu is worth trying. After the table had been cleared, the server started hanging round our table with the bill. The restaurant was not busy — not even half full and we wanted to sit and have a chat while finishing our drinks. This just made me feel quite uncomfortable — I could understand if the restaurant was busy or if it was near closing time. I will be back as the food is always fantastic and while the service was a let down, it was not a major issue.

Pizza Express are really top class and one of the nicest restaurants I’ve eaten in Belfast and indeed anywhere else. The pizzas are sooooo good and they also have a range of salads if you’re after something lighter which I’m a real fan of. They are a chain, but al of their restaurants that I’ve been in still retain an individual look and feel more different to each other one. The staff are always really fast, efficient and friendly. They will escort you to your seat upon entering. The only thing is sometimes they can be über busy and you might have to wait a while, but that’s just a reflection of how good the food is. Bellismo!

Isn’t pizza express just amazing. It really does feel like fine dining when you go into one of these restaurants. This Victoria square branch entirely lives up to my estimations in price, quality and overall experience. Pizza express regularly have promotions and discounts which really does make me visit their restaurant constantly. I can’t stress how good value their two for one offers are. They also partner with Orange Wednesdays 241 cinema deals, which means you can have two for one pizza and movie for… well I’m not sure… but its not that much!!! My favourite pizza is either their Diavola for the spice kings out there or a nice and simple Il padrino(chicken & sweet peppers). Also try out their 14 inch skinny base versions of the classics. My only negative point is the price of their drinks as they are expensive in comparison to the food. But it doesn’t put me off that much.

A former listed grain store located within the new Victoria Square is the location. The building features original cast columns, timber floor and sash windows and these help form the perfect palate for an industrial influenced interior. The design takes cues from Belfast’s industrial past and the Harland & Wolff shipyard in particular. The overall impact is a stunning dinning room with the kitchen counter in full view of customers allowing an «engagement» with the chefs who are in full view. I love Pizza Express, I know its a chain and its probably really bad for the world the pizza is just so nice and I would literally kill a man for the dough balls. I have been in this restaurant lots of times and have never had a bad experience. I went in after a few bevvies with my friends and the waitress even put up with all of us trying to get her phone number and asking for glasses of milk. Top, top stuff. Definitely go for the funghi.

Pizza Express is one of Belfast’s few gourmet pizza restaurants. If you’re trying to strike the balance between casual and formal/upmarket or if you want to impress them without having to shell out too much cash, Pizza Express is the place to go. The food is impeccable. Anytime I’ve been in here I’ve always gotten exactly what I wanted, no issues, and at approximately £10-£15 for a large pizza, you can’t really go wrong; it’s basically the same price you would get in a Dominos or Pizza Hut. Staff are very attentive, standing by ready to season your food for you(yes, it’s that posh). With the Odeon cinema on the same floor, Pizza Express’s location is perfect, complimenting a night at the flicks with great food and service or any other night for that matter).

For me, any restaurant inside a shopping complex, even one as glam as Victoria Square, is for family teas or quick meals before the cinema rather than a proper night out. Just to be clear, a ‘proper’ night out must include drinks at home to start, then pre-dinner drinks in a suitably fabulous bar and then dinner in a glam restaurant. Drinks, drinks and then food with drinks. OK, then. So, Pizza Express in Victoria Square, under the law of the Proper Night Out, is a family and/or pre cinema venue only. And for those times, it’s pretty good. Everyone is a fan of the famous dough balls and you won’t be disappointed here — warm, soft and garlic buttery. Yum. Pizzas are also as good as you would expect and the American Hot on a thin thin crispy base is delish. Even my notoriously fussy kids describe the kids margarita as ‘awesome’. I think the kids menu is worth a mention for the value for money — dough balls, pizza, salad and desert for £6, plus a strange kids coffee with no coffee which is always treated with disdain at our table. It’s location one floor down from the cinema and one floor above the shops makes this Pizza Express perfect for a quick bite to eat.

Great service, price for food is reasonable although I don’t agree to paying £2.50 for a 330ml bottle(same volume as a can) is outrageous!
