I only discovered this place fairly recently, and it wasn’t intentional. I had no access to internet at home, the library at university was closed on a Sunday and I urgently needed to write a letter, and after a quick Unilocal on my phone, Revelations is where I headed! The computers here are basic but are clean and work well, providing you with everything you need: the internet and word processing facilities. They charge £1.10 for 15 minutes, whilst a concession rate for the elderly and students is £1 for 20 minutes which is fairly reasonable. The café also delivers to you in your seat a wide range of teas, coffees, soft drinks, and there is a good selection of tray bakes, muffins and other waist expanding treats. The shop also uses its wall to showcase the work of local artists which is really to be commended, and gives a nice feel to the place. The staff are really pleasant are only too happy to help, so if you need the internet or word processing facilities that you can’t get elsewhere, revelations provides a good service!

Revelations is an internet café situated in the ever busy student haunt of Shaftsbury square. Its a great place to go to if your net is down or if you don’t have access at home. The café is clean and contemporary with art for sale on the walls to give it a little something extra and the coffee served is really nice. A great spot to check out if you’re a visitor to Belfast and want to check your emails or facebook(for all us addicts!) or if you want to do a bit of Unilocaling!

A useful stand in when you have computer troubles on a weekend and desperately need internet access. It’s clean, warm and pleasant, serves good coffee and a collection of art for sale on the walls enhances the feel of the place. The staff are friendly too. The internet café seems to be a dying breed but I would be optimistic about chances of survival for Revelations.
