Great burgers! Plenty of choice, the blue cheese burger is unreal, arguably one of the nicest you will get in Belfast! Side dishes are really nice too! The hotwings are good as they have plenty of meat unlike most wings you would get elsewhere. If you are looking a decent burger and are fed up of the usual fast food outlets, you need to give this place a go!

After being on the the Lisburn Road all morning I decided I needed something wholesome and hearty for lunch, there’s plenty of Deli’s in this neck of the woods but my lunchtime hunger called for a Burger and I thought where better to grab one than Rocket and Relish. Firstly I had no idea they did a lunchtime deal. The deal is that for £6.95 you can get any 6oz burger off the menu and a side or a 500ml drink. The burger menu is pretty expansive, arguably the most choice in the city. I ended up going for the Goats Cheese and Jalepeno burger. Despite this being a 6oz burger the fillings were literally pouring out on to the plate. This was one of those addictive burgers where you can’t wait for the next bite. The fillings complimented each other beautifully — the soft smooth rich taste of the goats cheese and the spicy hit of the jalepenos made for an extremely tasty lunch. The service was great — we were in and out within 40 minutes. We decided to sit at the back of the restaurant which might not be the best place to sit if it was busy as you could easily be forgotten about, not that we were. Price wise £14 for two meals is pretty good — you’d struggle to get something as filling for that price anywhere in the city, let alone the Lisburn Road. All in all I am a fan and I’ll be back very soon to try the next burger.

First time I’ve been here and it was for the cheap £6.95 lunch deal. Fab big burger and chips, they even threw the chilli mayo in for free. Meat was extremely tender and the garnish on burger was lovely. Waiter seemed new, but he was very friendly.

Decided to come back and see if I was just there on a bad day. The burger this time was amazing! Beautifully seasoned and very tender, I asked for extra caramelised onions an boy did I get them! The burger was almost the size of my head I opted for the bacon and blue again, but it was 5 times better this time. Fries seem to have vastly improved too. Brought my mum here with me, she had the cheese and onion. Apart from taking half an hour to eat it, she said it’s the best burger she’s ever had. So I guess that kinda says it all. Only thing I’d say to chef is go a lil bit easier on the blue cheese dressing, although I love the stuff intensely(and I do love it). The burger ends up swimming in it. Saw someone else beside me having the sliders and they looked amaze balls. If I had room is have tried them, but I’ll leave that till next week. Really starting to like this place

This is a regular place for a bite to eat between me and my friends, they go for the delicious variety of burgers(the pesto burger, and the beef and blue being particular favourites) and I go for the hot wings and nachos. The nachos, have lashings of the best salsa I have ever tasted, and the hot wings are always doused in Franks Hot Sauce(a must for any hot wing lover in the know). The atmosphere is always bustling, great 80’s power ballads playing, either people going a takeaway or a load of students dropping in before a night out. Did I mention it was BYOB? Yes, so you can certainly have a cheap tasty night out, and if you forget your own booze, they are fully licensed, with cocktails to boot, although I’ve yet to try them. The Staff are friendly and efficient, and I’m sure they are sick of the of me and my friends! Keep up the good work

Best burgers in Belfast! Arguably my favourite restaurant — never out of the place, and can’t speak highly enough. Only trouble is choosing between the sliders for variety or the Aussie burger for sheer awesomeness! They also do great sides(mac n cheese and sweet potato fries in particular), offer kind service and are BYOB!

R&R is my go to place for a great burger but it’s much more than a burger bar. The menu includes really, really good wings, salads, mac and cheese, nachos, vegetarian options. All of which are excellent. Their main attractions are the burgers though & they big tasty patties with the choice of some excellent and different toppings. I went for the pesto burger. I never thought of putting pesto on a burger but it works really well, especially with the mozzarella cheese. I also ordered a side of chips and they are like chippy chips. Thick cut and clearly not from frozen. Top notch. There are a few choices of burgers so if you can’t decide, you can try the sliders. A great bonus is that they offer BYO, but you can also buy alcohol there & do some great cocktails. They also offer take away. The service is always good, the staff are friendly and relaxed and not on top of you, just how I like it. I’m yet to find a better burger bar in town

Love this place! The burger range is varied enough to keep you coming back and the burgers are great quality burgers. Love the sliders and the fact that it gives you any number of options in one satisfying meal! The sit-in area is quirky and cool, and the take-away service does not detract from the quality!

First of all I love the astro turf outside, then I love the huge range of burgers on offer. I have visited many times and never been disappointed. Imagination and skill applied in equal measure

Frequent diner in R&R. Quick service with friendly and helpful staff, nice to have the option to bring your own as well. I’m a big fan off the sliders, having a couple of different burgers hits the spots for me, with the Cheese and Relish and Bacon and Blue my favourites. The Sweet Potato fries are also exceptional. Reasonably priced and worth a visit.

A nice place for burgers! Handcrafted burgers in fact! I have mixed feeling about this place. Their burgers are good but nothing out of this world from my point of view! I like their burgers. They are huge. Made of good quality products. There are loads of different choices — from beef to chicken and vegetarian! However, I don’t appreciate their combination of the hot meat with the cold sauce. Creates a strange sensation in my mouth! Plus, I’m not a big fan of their chips! The space itself is pretty but could be a bit brighter(just open the curtains!) and the staff is polite and attentive! Belfast lacks burger places. I mean really good places to go for an authentic burger. As I said I have mixed feelings, so I have been there a few times before making this review just to make sure, because I don’t think it’s a 3 stars place but there is room for improvement before the 4 stars! Don’t get me wrong I like this place but it needs a shake before I can love it! So it’s a 3,5.

The menu was misleading; it told us we would get an egg in our burgers, but it turned out that the mini versions didn’t have egg. I wont let that subtract a star though, because I had a great time with friends there, and a staff member was really nice to us. The price is reasonable if you got a shared platter with someone else, and we were all very full at the end.

This place is famous for having gorgeous burgers and really friendly staff… I’ve had one if their Gourmet burgers and they are indeed very tasty. And the staff, yes very friendly/funny. Problem is that it seems to be all men in the place and they don’t notice what women do… The toilets are clean-ish… This is not good enough!!! When we see less than pristine loos what do u think the kitchen must be like? Inside the fridges etc?! Sort it out lads!

Update: I’ve tried most of their dishes and I think the place is really good. Increase in prices forgiven. This place will not disappoint. It has become a staple of Belfast. Don’t rest on laurels now.

This place is brilliant, elevating the burger to a bit of an art form. Certainly as far from the likes of McDonalds as you can get. All in all the burgers(and even the chips) are as out of this world as the astro turf style patio area out the front! Last time i was in the nachos and cheese had taken a leapt forward. Instead of the usual dorritos with cheese and salsa on them that you would get in most places, they fried cut up sections of actual tortilla bread to make the ‘chips’. The Rolls Royce of burger experiences for me.

I am so very glad I found this place! We called in the other day mostly because someone had driven past it and thought the fake grass outside looked cool. Luckily, it was a really good day, so when we got there, we were able to sit outside and watch the world go by. I ordered the feta and black olive tapenade burger. It. Was. Awesome. Honestly, the burger was cooked to perfection, the ingredients were so perfect together it was unreal and the chips were properly tasty too. I genuinely can’t recommend this place enough, so the first chance you get — try it!

Rocket and Relish is a fantastic place. It looks cool for a start. The outside seating area has a sort of grass finish which makes it look quite modern and hip. This could have made it look cheesy but they manage to pull it off. Their burgers are fantastic. Perfectly cooked and very juicy, I can’t think of another place that does grub in a bun better!

I was so excited to see that Rocket and Relish finally has it’s own restaurant! The Business started out in St Georges Market and the burgers really are the best ever! They’re not just your bog standard hamburger or cheeseburgers… they are huge in variety with all the toppings you can imagine. They have relishes of all sorts and cheeses such as brie and goats, and fantastic chicken burgers! The Cajun chicken being up there with the greats! However by far my fave is the Cesar burger… seriously food this good should not be offered within walking distance of my house! I love the fact that He has kept to his roots and offers everything in paper with wooden forks… so traditional and the way good burgers and fab chips(oh, yes) should be eaten! The restaurant is really cool too! Very clean and contemporary but also relaxing and friendly. I also love the AstroTurf grass outside as the seating area, so imaginative! Seriously, a better burger for prices this good, cannot be found!
