A great community spot for a drink and watching the football with pool tables for relaxing after a hard day at the office. St. Paul’s recently went through a makeover and is now a very spacious and clean sports bar. Decent prices for drinks too and with a great coffee machine if you prefer a latte with your football or hurling games on the big screen. Normally with its fair share of regulars and affectionately known by some as ‘the jockey’ this bar is really up and coming. They also have a function room for hire and have onsite catering facilities, which when I was growing up was a massive 18th birthday party spot. The profits from the club go to support the Gaelic and Hurling programs in St. Paul’s which gives a great distraction for all young people in the area and really represents the best parts of this side of Belfast. Call in for a pint. Naomh Pol Abú
