I want to dislike Starbucks. It’s everything my head tells me to despise. A huge, world dominating, multimillion dollar corporation selling over priced coffee and putting small local independent cafes out of business. However here’s the thing — Starbucks was once a small independent business too. They’ve expanded to a massive scale because they’re just bloody excellent at what they do. All that excellency is on full display in this particular Starbucks café located in Boucher Crescent. Maybe I just visited on a really good day but it was a really great visit. My coffee, an Americano was delicious, full of flavour and smooth. Despite there being a plethora of coffee shops around these days it’s actually depressingly difficult to get really good coffee. Starbucks deliver great tasting, high quality and consistently good coffee. Staff here are quick, polite and efficient. All the usual sandwiches and sweet treats are on display and are reliably good. This store looks recently refurbished and has a calm, serene vibe. It’s large with free wifi and loads of charging points. Acoustics are great, even though it was busy the noise was a pleasant low hum. I noticed quite a few people sitting working peacefully on their laptops so obviously some people find it a great place to work or study. It’s not cool to like Starbucks but I do. Normally I would 3 or 4 star them but this particular Starbucks café was excellent and deserves 5 stars. Credit where credit is due.

Much bigger since they moved a few doors, more seats and comfy armchair. The new macchiatos are really good the vanilla one is like ice cream. Friendly staff who told me if I had a Starbucks card I could save myself 50p if I was getting a syrup.

Had a nice creamy mocha and double choc muffin here today … Plenty of tables and different types of seats available. Enjoyed our chat on the comfy armchairs Great location with parking spaces front of the shop. Only downside is the rest room, only 1 shared toilet for men and woman, constant queue. as well as filthy inside

Starbucks is just what anybody needs on a cold winters morning. I always get an iced caramelised mochiato and they are to die for. Extra caramel at not extra fuss. Staff are always friendly and the service is quick.

This small Starbucks on Boucher Road is rarely busy so it makes an ideal place to catch up on some work emails in between meetings. Great service from the staff who are quick to clear tables and make beverages. No point in going on to much about it, it’s a Starbucks after all so most people know what to expect. One criticism is that they play the music too loud and it’s usually horrible jazz so bring your headphones if you plan on having some quiet time.

This Starbucks is fine if you want to have a quick cup of coffee, however it can be quite busy due to its location in a retail park. The shop has, on occasion, lacked regular cleaning. However I must say, this issue appears to be improving. As with all Starbucks stores you kind of feel like you shouldn’t sit too long and the constant flow of customers, prevents you from getting too relaxed. One thing this store has going for it is the excellent parking, finding a space is rarely an issue.

Nice location, just off the motorway and with plenty of parking right outside which puts it above most in the area! Not the biggest Starbucks but plenty of seats, tables and benches. My favourite one local to Lisburn

This Starbucks based in the Boucher retail park is quite small, not in a crushed way, more so in a cosy manner. Like the other Starbucks, it has all the treats and goodies on offer. Though I must admit I never see past the hot chocolate options with whipped cream and marshmallows. It’s so good. The premises are in good condition with hygienic surfaces and clean floors which is good to see when you’ve just sat down to eat or drink. The Starbucks staff on my visits have been both friendly and chatty. The only problem with this Starbucks is that it lacks a real sense of atmosphere due to its location in the retail park. It is sometimes a little eerie as the only customers are people who visit the retail park. As you aren’t really shopping long enough to need a coffee or tea, this means that there is a lack of people, atmosphere or noise in the coffee shop.
