Looking for a taste of the country in the city you can’t go wrong with Stormont Park. The mixture of formal gardens and wooded paths are great for running, and you are bound to burn plenty of calories with it’s hilly location! Don’t miss the paths up to the top of the grounds, which are pretty strenuous but beautiful.
If you are feeling particularly energetic after that there is also outdoor gym equipment dotted throughout the park which is widely used.
Alternatively take a seat and enjoy the views over Belfast. You’ll deserve it after the walk up the grand drive!

Great park to go for a walk. the views are lovely the walks around it are great and there is a great kids play park which will help burn off all their energy!!! great place to take the dogs too.

GReat kids play park. Always clean and usually always busy.
Good visibility throughout for adults to supervise etc.
Busy when you would expect it to be but recommended.

this place is a superb park, you can wander about for hours, and not cross the same path again its quite excellent, plus it has loads of cool places to go, for example a tour round the parliament building there, or a swing in the park with huge slides, or a dogs athletics area!!!
