Shop in here quite a lot, it’s got a lot of great stock for bhoys and ghirls, prices a little high but their sales are good. It s the only football shop that has stood the test of time, all others have been and gone so must be doing something right

Alright, so everyone else has covered the political minefield around expressing an allegiance to either Celtic or Rangers, so I’ll tread carefully and only review this shop as a store. Basically, it stocks everything Celtic related, which is perfect if you need a gift for the football-obsessed in your life. It surprises me that this shop still stands, I remember both Manchester Utd and Liverpool had stores in Belfast at one point, and they’re both gone, but this one still remains(I’m not actually sure if the Rangers store is still standing or not), so it’s clearly doing something right. The stock is quite expensive(for all it is), but that’s to be expected I suppose. Basically, my point is, if you’re a Celtic fan, you’ll probably enjoy this. Maybe even if you’re just a football fan, you’ll find a book or a DVD of interest. Otherwise, you should maybe just walk on by…

Only Belfast(or possibly and aptly Glasgow) could have a Celtic store of this size and actually survive as a business. Besides the usual sectarian nonsense associated with the youth around the city — wearing a Celtic or Rangers top as a badge or(albeit) confusing as to what clan you come from(it’s all a bit like Braveheart but not as interesting, with stronger accents and without an eight foot claymore) This place stocks all manner of tops, mugs, jackets, umbrellas and any other green and white trinket you can imagine. Not my kind of place and is certainly limited to a certain demographic and age group of kids around the city.

Ahh the Celtic shop, for all those who like to support a terrible football team. But we won’t hold that against them in this totally neutral Unilocal! This store contains all you need if your a Celtic fan and for some reason need to have its crest and logo all over your body to prove it. Whilst I wouldn’t be a fan of buying football branded clothing, there are some interesting things here, such as DVD’s depicting the history of the club or biographies of some of their most loved/famous players(I’m still waiting for them to accept Regy Blinkers greatness and release his!). The offer official SPL number and name printing, but this can be a little expensive, especially if your favourite player was Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink!

What can I say? All things Celtic! If you’re a diehard fan, this is the place to go, but I tend to find that it’s prices are quite expensive when compared with retailers of general sports merchandise such as JJB or Lifestyle. But I suppose if you’re a true Bhoy, you’re preference will be to shop here. If not, head across the road to JJB-you’ll get a better deal there. But 4 stars for the fan boys anyways.

Much like the other reviewers here, I am going to try and review this shop for the merits of the shop for the quality of the shop and its merchandise, and try and avoid talking about the football club and all the negative connotations that brings. The shop is crammed full of Celtic orientated merchandise. There are all the kits which can be customised with genuine SPL printing, but for me this is where the decline in quality starts. The rest of the merchandise is quite frankly heavily branded and overpriced tat, much like that in any club’s store. Is there any real need for a Celtic themed babygro? When choosing office stationary, are you going to want to emblazon all your items with the Celtic logo? The answer to these questions should indeed be no, unless of course you would directly in Celtic’s offices or are a wag of a Celtic player! Unless you are a die hard supporter, stay well away. Even if you are a die hard, you can easily get the shirts for cheaper elsewhere online or in reputable sport stores nationwide!

If Celtic FC was run by Willy Wonka, this shop would be his chocolate factory! The Celtic Store is the ultimate haven for any Celtic fan looking to buy any club merchandise and memorabilia and Lord it doesnt disappoint! From the moment your eyes meet the front of the shop you know what to expect. The shop is dressed top to bottom in all things Celtic, from manikins wearing the latest home strip with a mask of the fans’ favourite player on the head, to Celtic hats, watches, baby clothes, confectionary, school bags and all sorts of other novelty gifts, the place has every useful(and some not so useful!) item imaginable but with a Celtic logo on it! The shop really appeals to the fanatical supporter and the club have taken full advantage of this, offering merchandise from every part of its 122 year history to ensure interest from customers old and new. The club also enjoy telling its fans that by shopping in their official shops that all money goes back into the club and once you hear this, it doesnt seem so surprising when you see people at the post office signing their forms with official Celtic pens, paying at the supermarket with their official Celtic credit cards and looking smart in the office with their official Celtic shirts and ties! Prices are slightly over the odds but for the ultimate Celtic fan it is the perfect opportunity to buy themselves proof that they love their club! If you are a Celtic fan you would have no problems giving ‘The Celtic Store’ 5 stars!
