This is one of those off licences where you can’t actually walk around and peruse the different beverages available. As soon as you walk into the shop you’re at the counter. But as I’ve said before, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially if you’re on your way to a friend’s house and you’ve a taxi or a lift waiting. A quick run in here, tell the staff what you want, and you’re on your way again.
As with most small off licences, it’s not quite as cheap as big retail supermarkets, but most of the big supermarkets don’t have their alcohol chilled, whereas small off licences like this usually have good sized fridges stocked full of your favourite tipple. One of the handiest things about this particular off licence is that it has one of those Pay Zone machines, which means that owners of pay as you go phones can get their phones topped up here. Always useful since you’ll probably end up phoning people for ages after a few drinks go down the hatch.
