Some towns are fortunate enough to have an independent lingerie boutique. Berkhamsted is one of those towns.
The Lace Collection has been a delicate stalwart of the Post Office end of the High Street for decades, and is a scented frilly paradise of mid– to high– end lingerie brands, including those catering for the more amply upholstered. The five stars from me are gushing thanks for stocking PrimaDonna lingerie, therefore saving me ridiculous P&P online or a trip to Rigby and Peller. Quality swimwear and those old-​fashioned nighties with real lace on them are also quite a feature, and the staff are lovely: chatty without being pushy.
