A very nicely located and appointed restaurant right by the Eton-Windsor Bridge, with views over the Thames and of Windsor Castle. Food is good, if a little pricey, with good sized portions. My minor quibbles, which prevent me giving a 5* rating, would be that the wine list is a little sparse in by-the-glass options, and the service, whilst competent enough, was a little brusque at my most recent visit.

A lovely little restaurant on the bridge between Windsor and Eton. We’ve been there twice and have enjoyed both occasions. White tablecloths, candlelit tables, and a formal dining room. Service is good, though a bit standoffish. The food is good, though not amazing. The desserts, however, are indeed amazing.

House On The Bridge Restaurant offers a spectacular meal and an even more spectacular view of the Thames, Windsor Castle, & the bridge into Eton. Started out w/Goat Cheese, Onion & Fig Tart — did not skimp on the goat cheese! Mains: Sis got the Mushroom, Spinach Ravioli & loved her dish. Nice tomato /basil sauce w/a hint of cream. I got the Mushroom, Leek, & Cheese Risotto & it was outstanding! Creamy & super cheesy. Dessert consisted of Eton Mess for Sis w/it’s Strawberries, Meringue, & Whipped Cream. I got the Sticky Tofee pudding & both were incredibly delish. Rolled ourselves out of there & opted for a nice extra-long walk back to our room
