Wong Wong is right right(sorry bad pun). A local Chinese bakery that does a lot more than perfect pastries! In a café setting you get waitress service with access go delicious weekend specials and a regular menu! I opted for the beef brisket in curry style with boiled rice. It was divine — tender pieces of brisket with a sweet curry sauce! I’d eat this again Other in the party had fillet steak Cantonese style(that was very much like your take away sweet and sour but without the gloopiness to it! But for a café setting I thought the price was a little expensive but to be honest there are not many places you can compare it to in Manchester so it’s not really about the money there! I’d avoid the X.O. Style dishes as these are suited to a very eastern palette and quite salty !

Small bakery/café situated next to a Chinese wholesaler/supermarket. Small number of tables inside and limited menu. Menu consists of rice and noodle dishes with a couple of roast meats served alongside. Food is very tasty on the whole but the descriptions on the menu don’t always tie up with what you get so it could be a surprise. The waiting staff are helpful and if you haven’t tried something before then they may suggest something else the preserved egg is an example. Overall good quality food with a colourful display of baked good both sweet and savoury. They are aware of gluten free but if you can tolerate soy sauce you can be accommodated.
