Bexley’s Cyprus Village

Had a meal with the wife last night. hmmm, had a seafood platter, it was ok, not much flavour but ok, the wife had the borek which was absolutely stunning. The main was aberdeen angus steak, with sauce, potatoes and vegetables. The steak was tender, BUT there was NO flavour!!, the sauce was … well a creamy something, but added nothing to the steak at all!, the portion size bearing in mind the £27 (per person), was VERY small. The desert was an extra cost, i had the home made cheesecake with summer fruits.
The only problem was there was NO cheese, so the whole thing was bland, refreshing, but not really a cheesecake, i suppose it would be good choice for a diabetic! since it had no sugar in it! The service was good, the atmosphere was ok, but for a combined bill for two, with service charge of £67! was VERY excessive.
In Summary; good service, nice atmosphere, bland steak, small portions, tasteless desert and excessive cost! I therefore change my previous rating from 5 star to 2! I have experienced better!
