Great food, great servicewhat more can one ask for! You put Bideford on the map for usall the way from Sydney. Well we were in Tavistock visiting family but it’s still over an hour’s drive to come and lunch.
On each occasion we visited, the food was wonderfully fresh and tasty. There were no short cuts here all the ingredients were excellent quality and thoughtfully used. The beef stew cooked in ale was a particular standout. Best we’ve had? Very possibly.
We will broadcast your café and Bideford to everyone back in Oz who’s coming to visit old Blighty that they should come and experience some of your charming hospitality and knock that old myth on the head that Poms can’t cook!
