Halfords

This is a fairly big shop. Selling everything from bicycles, car seats, gps systems and lots of other small items.
We go here quite often, and purchased a bike here for my son.
The members of staff were very knowledgeable about what bikes were suitable.
They measured him, to make sure he got the right height and asked what he would be using if for, so he got the right one.
When we picked a bike, we could have taken it straight away, but in the price of the bike, a service was included to check everthing (including brakes etc) were ok and functioning properly. We went back the following day to collect the bike.
Halfords is great for bikes and also car accessories etc. This being a large store, has plenty of choice.
