Avoid if you are going to eat as it is not what it says, phoned Saturday9th October 2010 told the carvery was on up to 8 pm arrived 7.30 pm told that carvery was only Monday to Friday so we thought we would have the 2 meals for £8.00 only to find that we had been given the two at £7.55 each and then the table we had been taken to was surrounded by people who are not eating but appeared to be on a night out, peas not cooked and the steak was like rubber.

Great for a cheap and cheerful sunday lunch. The Clipper has recently undergone a bit of a change and is now a carvery. The price is good at £4.95, and although the beef is usually a bit tough, the turkey and ham are lovely. A good selection of veg etc, and the rest of the menu has a good choice too.
