On several occasions I’ve ended here while waiting for my train to quickly grab a quick coffee to go. I used to buy a breakfast roll here but It seemed to be a hit or miss if they would sell you one usually depends on the time you turn up. Staff tend not to give eye contact, probably it’s something to with poor lighting inside. Am l a fan of this place? Sadly not.

Popped in the other morning as had a sudden craving(no not preggers, just hungry) for a croissant. Saw their croissant and hot drink for £2.50 offer and decided to give it a try. Cosy and comfortable it looked nice for a spot of lunch and would pop back again. The croissant was lovely but somewhat tainted by the horrible poor quality jam.

A little hidden lunchtime gem! Their breakfast rolls are super tasty and it’s often hard to walk past without popping in for one. The panini range and ever-changing homemade soups are really good. Their selection caters for everyone too. I’m a huge fan of their mozzarella, roasted veg and balsamic panini. The soups are always divine, from Indian dahl to mushroom and tarragon. They do accept cards payments but only for transactions over £5, which often leads me to spend more than I’d actually want sometimes. Guess that’s partly my fault for not having cash on me though. The girls who work there are all lovely and take time out to chat to you. It’s such a busy little place and they’re run off their feet sometimes. Bear this in mind if you’re ever waiting a little longer for your fabulous food. It’s not the cheapest place, but I don’t really mind since their food is so awesome and it’s so close to work. Perfect for rainy days when you don’t want to trek to far for a carb fix.

Always passed this place with the intention of trying it. Well today was the day. Ran out of places to go. Or not wanting to make myself too regular at certain places. Takeaways closing down or getting refurbished. Some thing new needed. Right next to 7th Heaven so hopefully people don’t think I went there. Popped in to see what they offered. It is bigger inside that I thought, quite nice for somewhere to sit. They offer all sorts of sandwiches, panini’s, Ciabatta and all that sort. Some ready made or you can chop and change things. For me these places have too much cheese. Cheese on everything. Yup, one of the few that don’t like it. For me a new place throws too many options and I cannot decide. Look like a deer in headlights. So I quickly just went for the special. Pulled pork and chilli jam in a ciabatta, £4. Or add soup and it is £5. Good deal because the thing was awesome. Defo will be back for that again. Cannot remember what the soups were but sounded good. They do offer morning rolls as well which I will keep in mind for the cold times coming along. Staff were very friendly and service was nice and quick. Will definately go back and try something else. If your passing give it a try. Has all them coffee things and wifi. Space to sit and read the news watch the crazy traffic on Bath street.

Am I a stripper? No. Corporate booze-wielding, excel-spreading wench? Yes.(p.s. you’re welcome… and drink more whisky and bourbon!) This is definitely not a bad shout when you’re craving hot freshly homemade soup(changes daily), or toasties and paninis. This place gets slammed at lunch hour during the week, so expect a queue as the lovely girls do their best to take care of you as fast as possible(get yer mind out of the gutter, that’s next door!). £4−4.50 for a hot cup of soup and simple, savoury panini when it’s either 1) pissing down with rain and/or 2) you’re too lazy to walk to Where the Monkey Sleeps or 3) your chauffer isn’t available to drive you to Piece… Well I’ll take it!

Need coffee… eyes drooping… brain bottoming out in second gear… caffeine soon or its the ditch for you laddie! Hark fair folks of Unilocalland, what shimmering oasis of random business placement lies forth… eh, in front of me? You know, over there. Aye, well i got fed up talking silly. Now i’ve always seen a random place in this random spot but it always seems to be closed down whenever I’m searching out my next Unilocal… well, not today! Definitely one for the office workers and strippers nearby(what, strippers eat too), this wee coffee shop is in truth more of a lunch spot than anything else. Verdict? A bit empty to be honest. Cant imagine ti ever being cosy enough too merit a sit in java date, despite the free wifi on offer. Whether its a decent place for a lunch time sandwich, I’ll have to let you know. Oh… haha, almost forgot. the coffee! Half decent, but a bit cold for my liking.
