A L Hawkeswood

Ok this wasnt the easiest of places for me to find, but once i visited this scrapyard i was really glad to have done so. It may be packed with cars and a bit grubby underfoot at times, but the owners are really really friendly and helpful. I was after a replacement headlamp which my own car dealership quoted a really exhorbitant price for, so i thought id give a few scrapyards a go in the hope of saving a bit of money on a replacement. Im glad i did. Hawkeswood’s did a quick search first amongst their ‘on the shelf’ stuff to no avail (it was quite an old car, and im sure they dont get too many in these days). They then took me out into the main yard and were soon able to locate a suitable car. I thought id have to mess about with tools and try to get the headlamp off myself, but they happily did this for me and in next to no time. The price was very reasonable (really reasonable) and a massive saving on what id have paid at the dealership. All in all im very happy, thanks hawkeswood!
