Abu Tyres

What an absolutely awful experience. Two tyres removed from two alloys. of which 1 tyre puncture repaired and 1 bold tyre replaced. Quoted 20 pounds. Then charged 30 at end of job, without informing. Apparently the Extra cost was for 'exchanging' the front wheel to the back. When challenged, informed that the son does not work for free. Then to be told by the son that he hates dealing with Asians, as they want work for free and are never happy. Father then rolls in telling me that my tyre, when off the rim, has a "flat side" hence needs replacing. Son then chirps in that he happens to have a tyre that fits. Such confidence that following puncture repair no under-water puncture repair check done. Tweedledee and Tweedledum come to to mind. Given 40 pounds as charity, as father and son appeared desperate for a few pound, behaving like two-bit thieves. Felt sorry for the white guy with the BMW GT, who they were looking at fleecing. Son informs me they have been on location for 30 years. God willing they will stay in the same hole for another 30. Never again. Dr Ahmed.
