Balti Cottage

I really like this restaurant and although it is based on the busy Pershore road, it is surprisingly relaxing inside. It has a lovely romantic atmosphere about it and is therefore perfect for bringing loved ones to for a meal. It is quite small inside, but I think this adds to the cosiness of the place and also it makes your dining experience more intimate and romantic. I think it is always best to book a table here rather than just show up as it is always fairly busy and so you would not want to be disappointed. The staff here are also wonderful, which adds to how nice the place is overall; they are very friendly and extremely hospitable. However, the best part of this restaurant is the food. It is great, I have always had a really good meal here and have never been disappointed. It is cooked well and is always flavourful. This place is definitely worth a trip!

This was one of the first sit down places we tried when we moved into the area a couple of years ago. The food was great and really tasty and the atmosphere in this cosy restaurant made for a really pleasant evening. It is quite small inside, so it’s probably better suited for a small group, rather than a large (boozy) group of friends, but if you ring ahead I’m sure they could accommodate your party, and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
One of the interesting things that Balti Cottage has done recently is to team up with Stirchley Happenings and hold film nights. You get to watch a classic film and enjoy a meal — a brilliant idea. These events sell out very quickly, though, so you need to be on the ball.

Balti Cottage is a beautifully dimmed lighting Indian restaurant that has an atmosphere fit for any romantic couple with how they set their tables with long-​stemmed candles. Although this restaurant is actually quite petite, I would definitely recommend taking a visit to Stirchley’s Balti Cottage to any loving couple and small group of friends looking for a quiet, peaceful and laidback to dine. The service there is extremely friendly and their staff members are very eager to please their customers, which is a lovely and inviting asset to any restaurant. Balti Cottage’s food is delicate yet powerful in taste and their deliverance of these meals and Indian delicacies are nicely presented with conventional Indian cuisine bowls. After meals they complimentary offer you an After Eight, which I cheekily asked for more and they happily provided and serviced me additional After Eights for my satisfaction. A great place to go and dine!
