Chalk and Linen opened recently in Coleshill, Warwickshire. This is a great shop to find something unusual, its a bit like going back to a bygone time, when furniture was well made, had appeal. If your into the latest trend of upcycling, recyling this shop is for you. Jackie the lady who runs the shop with her husband is friendly and welcoming, there’s a place to sit and have a proper cup of tea with cake. On certain days there are talks on how to paint furniture with the paint they sell within the shop. There are dressers, cabinets, music stands, chest of drawers all vintage, its well worth a visit. I went with my mom and sister and bumped into a friend from coleshill, its where everyone knows each other. Its something different and what a great way to spend a couple of hours and treating yourself.
