This is a good off license and I have visited it a few times when I have been in the Northfield area. They have a variety of wines, beers and sprits available, which is to be expected. I think that the prices are not too bad and when I have been browsing around the store, the lady that works there always asks me if I need any assistance with anything. She has also pointed out the drinks that have some kind of deal or are on sale, which is always handy. She is always very friendly and often asks me how I am and if I have had a nice day, which I think is really sweet. The only downside that I can think of is that they never seem very busy when I have been in and so, if you live in the local area, you should pay them a visist!

‘Delta Wines’, I always think, sounds like the name of a femme fatale in some yet to be written science fiction odyssey. However, sorry to disappoint, but it’s actually the name of small convenience store on the Bristol Road South in Northfield(not exactly deep space or the rings of Saturn or anything along those lines). Although one of many small shops of its kind in the area, I like to use Delta Wine, as the woman behind the counter is never anything less than very friendly, always asking how I am and giving me a hand if I can’t find what I’m looking. It’s also very well priced, with one deal that I wish they would get rid of, purely from the point of view of my liver, is the extremely cheap £5.50 for 8 cans of Fosters larger.
