My first impression of the salon was good. It’s clean, well-​presented and professional-​looking with lots of literature to read and products on display. The receptionist warmly received me but although I was on time I was made to wait for some time.
The treatment was a lot more relaxing that I thought it would be because after the exfoliation, I was treated to a face mask and left alone. However, each time I went, I was treated by the same therapist and she never seemed to remember me. I went once a month so surely you couldn’t forget a person! She would ask me the same questions on what my beauty régime is and what products I use, and then promote those that are sold at the salon.
The treatment was so-​so. I didn’t get the desired effects but I’m not sure whether it’s because I overestimated the outcome after three treatments. The location is somewhat dubious because you don’t really want to walk through shopping areas when your face looks greasy and pink after microdermabrasion!
