I was shocked to see this place empty; there were two staff members and a security guard that opened the door for us. It puzzled me as I’ve never saw door staff at a curry house before. I started assessing my attire on the way in, questioning whether I fit their dress policy. I was let in and then I spent most my time looking around and trying to figure why they had a door man. I thought maybe armed robbers had come in for their pot of curry. In all seriousness it was a little concerning and didn’t convey the restaurant positively. The food was fine; between us we ordered a Balti, Jalfrezi and Korma. They were all pleasant. We enjoyed them in peace, it was very quiet in here and in fact there was no one else here at all which was odd for a Friday night. I’ve always been told to judge a restaurant by the demand for their food.
