This is another firm favourite for an occasional treat, perhaps once a fortnight. The place is clean and well maintained and the food is really pretty good. Its quite a small operation and the staff get to know you and take a friendly interest in you if you go in their fairly often. The fish poortions are generally very good, and its always cooked to perfection — nice and crispy batter on the outside but nicely cooked and moist inside, never dry and thin. The chips are also of a really good standard being thick and fluffy inside, and crispy and nicely bitey. Prices are pretty good and they do all kinds of other stuff — chicken, other fish, etc. Highly recommended.
