Grills & Pizzeria

This fast food place appears to be quite versatile with the food it serves. On the menu are meals such as pizza, pasta, mexican chicken, paninis, salad, burgers and surprisingly jacket potatoes. It seems there may be enough choice to please anyone! I have been in here a couple of times and have always been quite impressed with the food. It may be a standard fast food joint, but the food is always tasty and the prices are quite cheap too, which is always a bonus. There are often meal deals on here too. The service has always been good when I have been and apparently they do a delivery service, however I am yet to use this. It is a good fast food place and it is definitely worth a visit if you live in the local area and it is definitely a student hot spot!

One of many takeaways on the Northfield stretch of the Bristol Road South, the creatively named Grills and Pizzeria seeks to trump the opposition with their range of … grills… and pizzas. Bet you didn’t see that coming, did you? Grills and Pizzeria is one of those generic looking businesses that looks like it come from a takeaway kit made by Ikea, but, in my experience, the quality of food from these places can range wildly. I’ve had pizza from there a couple of times, and both times it’s been good (it’s no Pizza Land, which is way further down the Bristol Road, but still very edible, and much better value than chains such as Dominos). One interesting thing about Grills and Pizzeria is that there’s no great price hike when order takeaway (or, if you look at it in a ‘glass half-​empty’ way, no better prices for going in and collecting), so if you’re after something late at night and don’t want to venture out, it’s a good option. Some unusual fast food options such as jacket potatoes are on the menu too. The timing of the delivery was one negative attribute to this pizzeria but despite being slightly late I enjoyed my pizza whilst my fitness freak of a friend enjoyed his jacket potato. As the selection of meat oozed out of my pizza, i could feel the forbidden jealousy oozing from my friend’s direction. The pizza was nice and even nicer as many were envious of my clever choice of a pizza.
