Fancy an anxiety-free trip to the local hole in the wall? At this little cranny in Union Passage there’s no danger of your card being swallowed or you exceeding your overdraft limit. You see, JK’s is in fact a wee nook of a sandwich store — a hatch if you like — not much bigger than your average cash point. The comparisons end there though, as your lunch here will not cost you a fistful of dollars. Let’s let the menu do the talking. Chicken Curry and Chips will only set you back three quid. Whereas the lunchtime special comes in even cheaper — a Crusty Cob(Ham, Cheese, Corned Beef or Tuna), bag of Crisps or a Chocolate Bar, followed by Tea or Coffee for only £2.50! I usually come here for the Freshly Ground Coffee when I don’t want to pay high street prices.
